As I don't know what nominal and verbal sentences are, I tried that. Unfortunately the discussions did not appear to be about these types of sentences.

I tried googling 'nominal/verbal sentences'. I could not find anything very useful on these types of sentence in English. There were, however, some references to nominal and verbal sentences in Arabic - for example, Nominal and Verbal Sentences « Kais Dukes – Blog
 
Are you studying these in class? I have never seen these terms used in a coursebook at any level, so I am curious about why you are studying them.
