sing to the CD

Please look at the sentences below.

1. She danced to the music.
2. She sang to the music.
3. She sang to the CD.

I understand #1 and #2 are correct, but I'm not so sure about #3.
Should it be something like "She sang to the music on the CD." or is it OK as it is?

It's OK as is.

"She sang to the CD" sounds unnatural to me. It reminds me of "She sang to the baby", meaning "She was with the baby and she sang in its direction, probably to relax it or send it to sleep". I would say "She sang along with the music" and "She sang along with the CD".
