What does single handely mean in this sentence?
 
The expression is 'single-handedly' and I've no idea what he meant.

I'm with Rover. It makes no sense there.

When you do something single-handedly, you do it by yourself, without assistance. Robin Hood single-handedly defeated 12 men.

Perhaps he meant to say "singularly" -- more or less, uniquely.

People don't always speak well when they are highly excited.
 
In one of my brief forays into watching television, I actually heard those words uttered. I cringed.
 
Never mind that it's an American show. I believe he's one of YOURS, isn't he?
