skin or skins?

Do you say: "People from Africa have black skin" or should I write "skins"

Be aware that your statement is untrue. You might like to add "Some" at the beginning.

........and bieasy, you might want to use the current, politically correct term, "have dark skin" or are dark-skinned".

I have to say that's not a politically correct term in the UK.
 
"Dark skin" is not the same as "black skin" in French or Portuguese. "Morena" & "negra"
