Hi, there're some sentences from Pride and Prejudice. Here's the musical link. And the dialogue goes like below:

Mom (scoffs):
♫ HAPPINESS IN MARRIAGE IS THE PILLAR OF MY QUEST
FIRST, I'LL MARRY OFF THE OLDEST THEN MARRY OFF THE REST

Lizzy: Lydia is still only just 15.
Lydia: But going on 25.
Dad: Yes, in every way but wisdom.

Mom: ♫ I WOULDN'T REALLY CARE IF SHE WERE STILL INSIDE THE WOMB
I VOW TO FIND THEM ALL A HUSBAND. DEAR LORD, THEY CAN'T COME TOO SOON.
AND IT'S BETTER TO BE AS PUSHY AS POSSIBLE
AS ZEALOUS AS POSSIBLE
BETTER TO RUSH
BEFORE THERE'S TIME TO BLUSH

Dad: Yes,♫ WHAT HOPES HE MAY HAVE LATER YOU CAN CRUSH.

My questions:
1. THE PILLAR OF MY QUEST. Does it mean: it is one of my quest or it is where my quest based on?
2. BEFORE THERE'S TIME TO BLUSH. Does it mean before there's embarrassment?
3. WHAT HOPES HE MAY HAVE LATER YOU CAN CRUSH. I don't understand this sentence even I know each word. Could you explain or rephrase?

Sometimes the the songwriter makes up phrases just to fit the rhyme scheme.

Do you see the humor?
