"sport" meaning

What can be meant by "sport" in this context? I find some different meanings, like "idle about", "playing" and, of course, "doing sports"; it could be OK, but the reaction of the teller confuses me. Boy has some mental dissorder, maybe, that is why he thinks, that wandering through the house is not "sport"?

Here, I have no purpose at all. Wandering through the house, I find Ben in the living room and collapse into an armchair. ‘OK, sport?’ he asks, and I nod, even though it’s not true.

Yes, we frequently just say "OK?" to people, meaning "How are you?/How are things?/Are you OK?" and plenty of other variations. It can even mean things like "Are you ready [to go]?" Context is everything!
