Squashed, Smashed or Crushed?

Hi,

"Hope my cake did not get SQUASHED? SMASHED? CRUSHED? in my bag"

Which one is correct between those 3 and why?

Either squashed or crushed if the bag was in proximity to other items, especially heavy ones, where simply the force of gravity or the normal movement of walking can cause damage.
"Smashed" would suggest something hit it with force (or that it was dropped).
