If someone asks me if I want to go out to dinner with them, can I say "I'm sorry. I'm so squeezed out with work" to mean I can't because of work?
 
No. Say you have to work overtime. Or something like that.
 
Does the phrase "squeezed out" mean anything to you in this context?
