Possibly, but not one that anyone is going to lose any sleep over.
 
The paper you write on, the envelopes, perhaps stamps or sealing wax, a nice pen.. all those things are stationery products. I don't see "products" as being redudant at all.

Nope, it's stationery. I assume they're talking about paper, pens, envelopes etc, rather than products which are standing still!

My dad taught me this when I was four:

Envelope starts with an "e" and stationery has an "e" before the end.
Train has an "a" in it. A train at a station is stationary with an "a" at the end.
 
One of the worst jokes ever:

A man sees a sign in a store next to some paper and envelopes. It says "Stationary sale."

He points out to the shopkeeper that "Stationary" means something that isn't moving.

The keeper replies that "Well, these weren't moving, so that's why they're on sale."
