Is there any possibility to say " Statistics shows" ? For example:

Statistics shows that people are having fewer children these days! ( I would say "show" )

Alone, no. In that sentence, you are correct and it should be "show."

But as part of a longer sentence (e.g., "A quick review of the statistics shows that..."), it would be correct.

(There is no need for an exclamation point.)
