I wanted to know the difference between still and anyway.
Can I say: I have one assignment due next week and/but I am still happy; or I have one assignment due next week and/but I am happy anyway.

I do not see how they are related.
Does assignment make one unhappy?

Not a teacher

In many cases,
Subject still complement and
Subject to be complement anyway
are the same.

It's raining, but we are still going.
It's raining, but we are going anyway.

I have a lot to do, but I'm still in a good mood.
I have a lot to do, but I'm in a good mood anyway.

But there are contextual differences. "You're still the one" is a far cry from "You're the one anyway." "Still" is more associated with positive assertions, and "anyway" with negative ones.

I am not sure I agree with that. The word "still" denotes an ongoing situation, positive or negative.

I am still happy.
I am still proud.
I am still thankful.

I am still angry.
I am still unhappy.
I am still dissatisfied.
