But is it correct to say " I store my games on a portable hard disc"?

That what I would say.
 
Well I think,in that case,we might well say " I store info on my computer not in my computer>"?
I think you can. I´m somewhat technologically challenged and am not totally comfortable talking about computer terminology. Perhaps someone more knowledgeable about this subject will comment

I just was wondering if I could say that in conversation or use it writing?
 
I believe that you can. I´ve heard both prepositions used in this context.
