Hello,

I was taught in school we always use 'a wish clause sentence' in order to express: I wish I had a big car. (I don't have a big car)
I wish I was on a beach. (I'm in the office). I think the stress is so important in wish clauses. For example:

-I wish you had called the police yesterday. (not me)
-I wish you had called the police yesterday.(you didnt call)
-I wish you had call the police yesterday.(not the ambulance service)
-I wish you had call the police yesterday. (not two weeks ago)

What do you think? Are they OK?

Thanks.

Apart from the two typing errors above, you are absolutely correct in your emphasis.
