Hi

Is it OK to say: He surrendered to everything.

Thanks

Hi

I'm not sure. For example, he surrendered to the fight for self-survival and he doesn't care any more ...

Thanks

You surrender to an enemy. You could surrender to fate.
You don't surrender to a fight or a battle, etc. You surrender to what you have been fighting.

Yes, he could surrender to everything.

You don't surrender to a battle.
You surrender to somebody in a battle.
