Is it wrong to write "T" in this way? I googled "T handwriting" it is a little similar.

No, but it's not that common nowadays.

That's the shape I was taught, but it should connect with the h.

There shouldn't be a break between the two letters. The whole point is to write the whole word without lifting your pen.

(Cursive is the word for formal handwriting.)
