Hi teachers.

I spent a few days living in my cousin's home. My cousin went back from outside would say "lazybones", "lazybones". I asked who is lazybones and he told me a friend who he met in the neighborhood. Many kids call him "lazybones". I wonder if "We tabbed him lazybones" is natural.

What does that mean?

He played outside with his friends and when he came back home, he kept saying "lazybones" and I asked what is a "lazybones" and he told the latter.

Hi teachers.

I spent a few days living [STRIKE]in my cousin's home[/STRIKE] with my cousin.

One day, [STRIKE]my cousin[/STRIKE] he [STRIKE]went[/STRIKE] came back in from playing outside with his friends, [STRIKE]would say[/STRIKE] and said "Lazybones, lazybones".

I asked him "Who is lazybones?" and he told me it is/was a friend who he had met in the neighborhood.

Many kids call him "lazybones".

I wonder if "We tabbed him lazybones" is natural.

Note my corrections above. I have put each sentence on a separate line just to make it easier to read.

No, "We tabbed him ..." is not natural. Where did you find something to say that "tabbed" can mean "called"?

A very old-fashioned dictionary. Some of the sentences there are natural. I read the definition carefully and it reads like it's natural. I'll leave it out.

Some people might say tagged or dubbed.

Much more likely: called or nicknamed.

But never tabbed.

Since his nickname is Lazybones, capitalize it.
