Hello!
A question about tables:
Should I put a dot at the end of the box in tables, in case I have a complete sentence or several complete sentences in the box?

I'm not sure what you mean, but I would advise putting a full stop at the end of every sentence (unless it's a question or exclamation).

What I mean is this. (Actually it doest not show the actual table here).
Box 1 = response
Box 2 = the sentence below
No dot is required after "Response", right?
What about the sente in the lower box?
To dot or not dot?

Yes, I know it is called "full stop" in BrE; and "period", in AmE. "Dot" is like a term used in the internet addresses, I thought it was more universal for the above purpose.
Thank you for your advice.

It you have a sentence in a table, use a full-stop. If you have a table full of single words, full-stops everywhere will look bad. If you have a table that has both, any decision is going to involve inconsistency - it might be possible to redesign the table. Editors and book-designers are forever arguing about this.

Thanks a lot. We, interpreters and translators, are ever arguing about it too.
