This victory brings/takes the team one step closer to the national championship.
Her help takes/brings me one step closer to my dream coming true.

Could I exchange "take" and "bring" in the sentence like these.
Thanks a lot.

In this context, I'd say they mean the same.

Her help takes/brings me one step closer to my dream coming true
Should 'dream' be replaced with 'dream's'?

Not a teacher.

That doesn't sound natural to me.

No. This is not the same kind of construction as "... brings me closer to my achieving my dream". Can you explain why you think "... closer to my dream's coming true" should use the possessive?

I think '... closer to my dream's coming true' means '... closer to the coming true of my dream", am I wrong?

Can anyone answer my above question?

It might be right, but like I said before, it's not natural.

I saw the kind of construction in dictionaries.

Winning the medal was like a dream come true. here
After all the problems I'd had getting pregnant, Oliver's birth was a dream come true. here

"my dream coming true" "a dream come true" or "my dream's coming true"
Which is correct?
