I repeat what Aachu asked: where did you come across it? Can you not give any context?

You mentioned not finding it in one dictionary. Have you tried other dictionaries? There are plenty on line. Have you tried googling it up? Have you tried the COCA?

You're wasting more time playing the enigmatic here than if you'd tried any of my suggestions above.
