Hi there, I'm struggling with these sentences, can anyone help me out?, concentrating on the underlined verbs, are these the right tenses?

1. No thanks, Ive just Had a coffee. (Future Perfect)
2. I've just been to the bank, so you needn't go. (Past Perfect)
3. Why don't you talkto Tim, and tell him how u feel? (Past Simple)

Kinds Regards,

Sharon

1. No thanks, Ive just Had a coffee. (Future Perfect) - I've just had is perfect, but it's not the future perfect! You need an apostrophe in I've, and no capital letter on had.

2. I've just been to the bank, so you needn't go. (Past Perfect) - The underlined part is fine, but we would normally say "you don't need to go". You "needn't" is quite old fashioned.

3. Why [STRIKE][/STRIKE]don't you talk to Tim, and tell him how u feel? (Past Simple) - It's "Why don't you talk to Tim......?"

Kind[STRIKE]s[/STRIKE] Regards,

Sharon

See above. In these posts, please type the word "you" in full, not "u".

Past perfect is "I had (I'd) just been to the bank."
3. Why don't you talk to Tim, and tell him how you feel? (Present simple)
