Could you please tell me with examples which tense is used generally:

1. for describing people

2. for likes and dislikes

The teachers here would probably ask you to provide examples first.

I am not a teacher.

I also thought the same but i do have a book named Handshake from OUP that has given such questions without examples and it is really confusing. If you could suggest any solution ...................

What do you mean by "tense?" Tenses of verbs depend on the time you are describing - the present, the past, the future, etc. Not on whether you are talking about a person or a thing.

You will need to ask something specific, your general question doesn't make any sense.

Again I ask you, thakurprasaddhungel, are you really a teacher?

If so, you should know that 'I' is always capitalised.

If not, please amend your profile by clicking on Forum Actions and then Edit Profile.

Dear sir SoothingDave
I found these general questions without examples in a book published by Oxford University Press named Handshake: a course in communication.
No clues are given there and those questions are asked. I was just confused but from your response now I believe that the writers of the book have limited knowledge ...............

Again I ask you, thakurprasaddhungel, are you really a teacher?
It seems that you have yet to respond to the above question.

Not a teacher.
