If you saved your life right in front of a big disaster where so many people died, how would you say?
The other day in Korea, there broke out a fire in a big shopping mall, causing customers and staff to jump out of windows, eventually four people dying. One of acquaintance was about to enter the mall, saving his life.
Among the following ones or others, which one is very common?

* Thank God I'm safe.
*I'm extremely fortunate
* I'm so lucky

All are okay, and probably about equally common.

A few other expressions (there are countless others) could be:

(insert favorite expletive) That was close.
It's a miracle I escaped.
I can't believe I made it.
I'm lucky to be alive.
I don't know how I made it out.

Depending upon an individual's nature, there's also likely to be a lot of either cursing or prayers of thanksgiving.
