Hello,

I'm reading a book, and i've got a question.

(Briefly describe the scene)
Claud was strolling with his dog. He loves these times.
In the distance, he saw Rummin's farmhouse, standing back behind the hedge on the right-hand side.
"I'll turn round there."
he decided.
"That'll be enough for today"
He approched to Rummin.
Claud should polite to Rummin because of his eggs.

What i want to know is the meaning of "That'll be enough for today"

What's enough?
strolling with dog? or turning round Rummin's farmhouse?

Thank you for reading my question.

Hello,

I'm reading a book, and I've got a question.

(Briefly describe the scene)
Claud was strolling with his dog. He loves these times. [Was the tense change here intentional?]
In the distance, he saw Rummin's farmhouse, standing back behind the hedge on the right-hand side.
"I'll turn around there," he decided. "That'll be enough for today" [Use quotation marks only if the words were said aloud.]
He approached [Don't say to.] Rummin.
Claud should be polite to Rummin because of his eggs. [Either this is the wrong tense or it's a quote. Change the tense or add quotation marks.]

What I want to know is the meaning of "That'll be enough for today."

What's enough?
Strolling with dog? Or turning round Rummin's farmhouse?

Thank you for reading my question.

Walking as far as the farmhouse would be enough of a stroll.

Either you copied this text incorrectly or the author is unfamiliar with English verb tenses. Important: Always capitalize the word I. Always start sentences with capitals.

Did you copy the whole section starting with "Briefly describe the scene" to "... because of his eggs" from the book?

No, I summarised it.
This is one of short stories of Roald Dahl, and this name is 'Rummins' that is included a chapter Claud's dog.
