OALD

I can't understand -- whether being slipping is a reason of being beaten or it's a result (she beats me and so I get worse):-?
Thank you

His skills are slipping. That is the reason he is getting beat.

That should be her/she.

I am not a teacher.

That should be getting beaten.

I am not a teacher.

In my case, that refers to 'that which was written in the second sentence of post #2'

In my case, your sentence referred to she. Dave referred to "he".

I am not a teacher.

The person who is doing the beating is a she. The gender of the person being beaten is unknown.
