Does 'spot' mean #1 or #2 here?
1. at that moment or place
2. Someone who is put on the spot is forced to do or say something the person would rather not do or say

That was unbelievable. I can't believe he gave you the account on the spot. I know. This is huge for the firm. I'm talking you with me to all of these from now on. I'm gonna be home soon. I just wanna have everything ready for him to sign in the morning.

Please edit your post so that it uses the standard font and font size. Thanks.

I'd say it means both possibilities listed in definition 1. The speaker could have used another expression that makes this explicit: I can't believe he gave you the account right there and then.

The pattern here is: do something on the spot.

It means: 'do something right there and then, without taking time to think about it and without giving warning about it'

(This is different from put somebody on the spot.)

I'm pretty sure that's a typo. It should be:

I'm taking you with me to all of these from now on.

Sorry I edited that.

You had changed the font and font size but not to the default settings. I have done so. Please look at post #1 now and you will see how it should have looked. The default settings are used because they are the easiest to read on multiple devices, browsers and operating systems.
