The best phrase to express that I am moving in some kind of mean of transport.

How to best say that I am moving as a passenger in bus or train? I look for a verb (drive - not, ride? go?)
I am thinking about situation when I am moving in a bus and somebody calls me (by phone) and asks me what I am doing right now. I want to answer that I moving on the bus but "move" doesn't sound good for me.

Additionally: "move on the bus" or "by bus" or "in the bus".

If I had made any mistakes in description of the problem given above, please indicate me these places.

We are most likely to say, "I am on a/the bus". We are not particularly interested in whether the bus is actually moving at the moment of speaking - unless it is held up in a serious traffic jam. In that case we might add, "I'm/we're stuck in a jam near the railway station".

And what if I want to say to my friend, who calls me, that I am heading to, for examlpe, my friend Monica. Should it be this way:
"I am going to Monica by bus, right now." ?

It's possible, I'd be more likely to say "I am in the bus, on my way to see Monica".

If you are going to Monica's home, then you would say you were going to Monica's. That's more natural than saying you are going to Monica.
