The buildings

Hello.

Is the definite article used correctly in my sentences? I am speaking about a famous statue and I mention the buildings around it for the fist time. I am not speaking about specific Italian architecs. But the buildings that are around the square are specific, aren't they?

''The statue is surrounded by the beautiful buildings. Most of the buildings were constructed by the Italian architects.''

Why is it wrong to use the articles before ''beautiful buildings'' and ''Italian architects?'' I am not speaking about specific archchets. Maybe that's why. I thought the buidings were specific.

The statue is surrounded by beautiful buildings, most of the which were designed by Italian architects.

Why is it wrong to use the articles before ''beautiful buildings'' and ''Italian architects?'' I am not speaking about specific archchets. Maybe that's why. I thought the buidings were specific.

If the buildings had been referred to previously, perhaps because of their unique architecture, "the" could work, or if the statements were reversed including Rover's changes, that could work also.

If the buildings had been referred to previously, perhaps because of their unique architecture, "the" could work, or if the statements were reversed including Rover's changes, that could work also.

Building construction is not usually/ever done by the architect(s) who designs the building.
