Have I used the word "robust" correctly?

====================
News came weeks ago that MUJI in the US applied the protection of bancruptcy. But the MUJI business in China appears to be robust presently, at least in our city. What is my impression about the MUJI then? High quality or artistic beauty? No, no, no. Simplicity and confidence are what it impresses me. For example, I took a look at its shirts and found no embroidered brand marks on them. So the shirts are simple enough and not as distinguished as Polo Sport. But where is its confidence? With the simplicity it sets its price as high as Polo Sport's. Isn't it its confidence?

Source: English writing practice by me. The passage is simply a product of "Think and Write" - I am not sure whether its naturalness and propriety in language has been satisified in the eye of native English speakers.

Yes, you used it correctly.

I'm not sure what you mean by "confidence" there.

The OP has explained it:

But where is its confidence? With the simplicity it sets its price as high as Polo Sport's. Isn't it its confidence?

Yikes. Did you add a line? I didn't notice the confidence line when I first read it.

Now that I see it, I'm not sure understand it. Maybe you mean:

"But where is its confidence? Despite its simplicity, it sets its price as high as Polo Sport's. Doesn't that show confidence?"

Yeah. People know you when you wear a Polo Sport shirt because it Is not cheap. But If you wear a Muji shirt, you risk being recognized as wearing a cheap shirt bought from a street vendor.

You've started incorrectly capitalising random words again.

That's the fault of my vivo phone.

It might be the phone's fault that the letters get capitalised in the first place, but it's your fault that you don't proofread and correct your posts before submitting!

The screen is small and hard to detect the minor flaws and who would have expected the stupid phone would capitalize what it shouldn't? iPhone is smart enough to not make such mistakes. But eerily iPhone has a hard time to visit this website (while vivo does a good job access to it)

Note my changes above.

I agree with you that it's much harder to use the site on a phone. That's why I don't (even though I have an iPhone). I only use it on my laptop.

It is odd that this site is iPhone-unfriendly (but friendly to a vivo). An iPhone shows an outstanding performance to access other sites. Yes. I'm now using my laptop to type the message.

I have looked at the site on my iPhone and it didn't appear to be any better or worse than other website. I simply find the text too small to deal with effectively. It's a shame that an Android app version was created (I don't know if it still exists) but no iOS version was ever launched. It does cost money, though, to make website mobile-friendly, and different phones have different requirements. The money is better spent on other things. Given that it costs users nothing to use the site, and it's staffed entirely by volunteers, it's impressive that it looks as good as it does!

Give Red5 the credit.
:)

(I access the site with an LG phone powered by Android.)
