Thank you all. I've one more question about tenses.

I've been reading a lot about english tenses, but still can't understand it.

For example:

"This car should be repaired until 8th o'clock". - Which tense is it?
"He should have done his homework yesterday" - And there?

Here "should" means "must".

It makes the sentence sound naturl if "before" is used instead of "until"

The second sentence implies he must did his homework yesterday, but he did not.

Hello.:-D

I've found this: http://www.tesol-direct.com/guide-to-english-grammar/modal-auxiliary-verbs
Please scroll down to 'Past time with modals'.

Please note that your first example sentence should be "This car should be repaired by/before 8 o'clock."

I hope the link will shed some light on your query.

Here "should" means "must". I know what you mean, but they don't mean exactly the same thing.

It makes the sentence sound natural if "before" is used instead of "until". I agree with you.

The second sentence implies he must did his homework yesterday, but he did not. I guess you meant "he had to do...", not "he must did...".

Hello, Peter Chan.:-D

Please see my comments above in blue.
