Hello.

Imagine humans have been able to defeat the coronavirus outbreak. For example, they have created a vaccine or they have contained the outbreak.

Would it make sense to say something like this? Can "no more" be used?

The coronavirus is no more. Life will get back to normal.

You could say that. There's a possibility that it could make a comeback though.

You can only really say the coronavirus 'is no more' after it has stopped existing altogether.

Don't confuse coronavirus (the virus) with epidemic (the widespread occurrence of the coronavirus). They're not the same thing.

Good point. Is it natural to say this?

The coronavirus epidemic is no more.

That's more accurate, yes.

Also, if you're talking about the current pandemic, you need to refer to it as the COVID-19 virus. There isn't just one coronavirus that affects humans. See HERE.

Fair enough.

The Covid-19 pandemic is no more.

Sounds like a pipe dream, though.

Everything ends.
