The expression, "Same here"

Hello.

I want to know if the expressin "Same here" can be used when we agree with someone's negative talk,
For example, when my friend says, " I am not hungry.", is it possible if I respond with "Same here."?

Yes, you can say that informally. . .

. . .or 'neither am I'.

Mona: Let's just have dessert tonight. I'm not really hungry.

Joe: Me neither.
