"The last time" in my sentence

Can I remove "the" in my sentences? And rephrase them by using "last" at the end of each sentence?


1. "The last time I went to work was last week."
2. "The last time I went to an art museum was last month."

Rephrased.

1. "I went to work last week last."
2. "I went to an art museum last month last."

But in other sentences it is not wrong. For example, "I don't remember when I saw her last." "I don't remember when I was there last.'

But in other sentences it is not wrong. For example, "I don't remember when I saw her last." "I don't remember when I was there last.'

They're OK.
