What is the meaning of "I am bumping it in case anybody else can" in the following phrase .

I can't answer your question, but I am bumping it in case anybody else can.

It means the member (in this case 5jj) is adding a new response to your question so that it moves back to the beginning of the list of threads. He is bumping/knocking it to the front of the forum. "Bumping" is a common term on the internet for when someone does this.
