Let's say there's a song which I didn't like when I first heard it, but after listening to it many times, I love it. I wonder if it's natural to say "The more you listen to it, the more you like it". I said this to a friend when I sent the song to him and hoped him to have a listen.

Yes, that's correct and natural.

You can't hope someone to do something.
 
That's possible, but it doesn't convey the idea that you didn't like it at first.
