We are running out of resources rapidly. Scientists say we will have to go to another planet hundred years from now. We have chosen Mars as our next home. Now Astronauts have to decide whether the planet that has been chosen to be the next home of ours, is the right planet to have been chosen.

Please check my sentences.

The earth's resources are being depleted rapidly. Scientists predicted the earth's inhabitants (we) will need to find another planet to move to in a hundred years. Mars has been chosen as the potential destination. Now, astronauts have to decide whether this is a right choice.

I don't think this decision is going to be left up to astronauts.

Is this part "Planet that has been chosen to be the next home of ours, is the right planet to have been chosen" incorrect?

Could you please tell me whether this sentence "Planet that has been chosen to be the next home of ours, is the right planet to have been chosen" can be considered correct or not?

"Is the Planet that has been chosen to be the next home of human beings, the right planet to have been chosen?" Is it correct now?

Thanks and like buttons are not working. So sorry for not acknowledging your efforts. Thank you for the help.

"Is the planet that has been chosen to be the next home of human beings (no comma here) the right planet?" [strike]to have been chosen?"[/strike] Is it correct now?

The 'Thank' and 'Like' buttons are not working (no comma here) so I'm sorry for not acknowledging your efforts. Thank you for the help.

See above.

Your question could finish with "the right one?" instead of repeating the word "planet".

Did you strike through "To have been chosen" because "have been" was repeated or it didn't make any sense there?

There was simply no need for the repetition. Using "the planet which has been chosen" at the start suffices.
