1) The room was in complete darkness except the middle part of the where it is lit up by the light from the street light that stream through the window. I like to stand in the circle of that light.

"The room was in complete darkness except for the middle part [STRIKE] of the[/STRIKE], where it is lit up [STRIKE]by the light[/STRIKE] by rays/beams from the street lamp that stream through the window. I like to stand in the circle of that light."
Using "lit, light, light, light" in a two-line paragraph is too much.
