When both Mr. A and Mr. B are a member of Group C, are the following sentences correct? I want to use "same" here.

1. Mr. A is a member of Group C the same as Mr. B.
2. Mr. A is a member of Group C in the same manner as Mr. B.
3. Mr. A is a member of Group C as with Mr. B.
4. (Please tell me if there is a better way to say it.)

Thank you.

1. Correct but place a comma after group C.
2. I don't like this one. It is unclear as to how "manner" relates to "member".
3. This would work better if you begin the sentence with "As with Mr. B," and end it with Group C.

Mr A is a member of Group C, as is Mr B.
