Hello Members,

Which sentence is correct?

Doctor, please prescribe the same medicine which you had given me last time.

OR

Doctor, please prescribe the same medicine which you gave me last time.

With all due respect, I would like to hear from only NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKING Members.

Thanks n Regards,

Rita

Re: past tense or past particle

I'm not a teacher so I'll refrain from answering. :)

Re: past tense or past particle

The "which" is optional. In BrE, you're more likely to hear "Please prescribe the same medicine you gave me last time", or "... you did last time" or, even shorter, "... the same medicine as last time".

Rita, I have changed your thread title.

You should know by now that

'Thread titles should include all or part of the word/phrase being discussed.'

In any case, there's no such thing as past particle. You meant past perfect.
