I went to McDonald's tonight with my mom. After we ordered the food we found that there were no seats could be seated, so we ate outside the restaurant because there are many seats for visitors.

Then we met a friend and she asked me "Why do you eat here?" and I said "The seats are packed inside".

I wonder if my italic sentence is natural.

I went to McDonald's tonight with my mom. After we ordered [STRIKE]the[/STRIKE] our food, we found that there were no empty/free seats [STRIKE]could be seated[/STRIKE], so we [STRIKE]ate[/STRIKE] used two of the many seats outside. [STRIKE]the restaurant because there are many seats for visitors.[/STRIKE]

[STRIKE]Then we met[/STRIKE] While we were there, a friend came along/showed up and she asked me "Why [STRIKE]do you eat[/STRIKE] are you eating here?" and I said "The seats are [STRIKE]packed[/STRIKE] all taken inside".

I wonder if my italic sentence is natural.

Please note my corrections above. The seats aren't packed. The restaurant is packed.
