Hi,
In my dictionaries the stress is on the first syllable. But, I have a feeling I've heard the word with a stress on /n/, as in /ɪˈnɒvətɪv/. Is it possible in BrE?

Is innovatory commonly used in BrE?

Thanks a lot in advance.

John Wells gives 94% of speakers stressing the first syllable, 6% the third. He gives 52% for /eI/as the vowel in the third syllable, 42% for /ə/

Is innovatory commonly used in BrE? Not in my opinion.
