[Grammar] The train to Paris or the train for Paris

I don't know which preposition is correct here, can you help please?

"Is this the train to/for Paris?"

"What time does the train to /for Paris leave? "

Usually, it is "to".

Yes – 'to' is almost always correct, though 'for' is sometimes heard.

Just say 'Is this the Paris train?'

I've always thought "the train/bus/airplane for..." is correct.
If my student had written "The train to Osaka leaves at ten." in his/her writing assignment, I would have corrected it to "The train for Osaka..."
