Hello.

Is the second 'for' optional after 'not' before 'men'?

'Not, those toilets, Mr Davis! They're for women, not for men.'
The example is from English File.

The second "for" is optional, but are you sure that first comma was there?

Please try to be more careful in future. Incorrect punctuation can change the meaning or even break a sentence. :)

I just checked. No, I put it there by [STRIKE]chance[/STRIKE] accident.

Note my corrections above. "by chance" generally means "by good luck/good fortune". It's not the same as "by accident" which means "accidentally" or "not deliberately". It's simpler to say "It's a typo" or "It was my typo/error".

Carelessly.
