The name of the river was not mentioned, Tarheel. I don't know the name of the village either. Sometimes we have set texts written by someone else. Regarding Tamar Mepe Arch Bridge, Makhuntseti Waterfall, Andrew the Apostle Waterfall, should the definite article be added or not?
1.The Tamar Mepe Arch Bridge
2.The Makhuntseti Waterfall
3.Andrew the Apostle Waterfall. I don't think there should be the definite article before Andrew.

I disagree. I would say the Andrew the Apostle Waterfall.

(There doesn't seem to be any point in mentioning the bridge if you don't know what river it spans.)

I should suggest

The eleventh-century arch bridge.

If there are extant parts of the bridge from the 1000's C.E., it's an eleventh-century bridge even if it was completed in the 1200's.
