There’s a lot of sun today.

We can say “There’s no sun today”. I’d like to know whether we could say “There’s a lot of sun today” to mean “It’s really sunny today”.
 
We can say “There’s no sun today”. I’d like to know whether we could say “There’s a lot of sun today” to mean “It’s really sunny today”.
It works, especially in reference to previous days when there might not have been much sun.

I don't think I've ever heard that one, but I think people would know what you mean.
