This is a part of a quiz that I took.

Which word in parentheses is grammatically wrong?

"There(seems)to be (the) employees who are dissatisfied (with) their transfers this time at the automobile (manufacturing) company."

The answer is "the" but I think "seems" is wrong, and it should be "seem" because it is followed by "employees."
What do you think?

Both, seem and seems, are correct. You can use either one.

"There(seems)to be (the) employees who are dissatisfied (with) their transfers this time at the automobile (manufacturing) company."

I seem, he seems, they seem, the employees seem, not the employees seems.

There seems to be a mistake here. There seem to be some mistakes here.

"There(seem)to be (some) employees at the automobile (manufacturing) company who are dissatisfied (with) their transfers this time. "
