Do the above sentences mean the same?
 
No, No. 1 is wrong. How could you write "this few days"?
 
They are both wrong. The time phrase you want is these past few days.

It's been very hot these past few days.
 
That's fine. I might also say these last few days.
 
Or the past few days.
