Hello, Steve.nabi.:-D
I'd go for "it".

My version is:
"I love going for long walks on Sundays because it makes me feel so close to nature."

Please read the sentence below.
(It's rather a weird sentence, but it will shed some light on your query.)

"I love breaking windows. It makes me excited."

What makes the speaker excited?
Breaking windows(='it', not 'they') makes him/her excited, doesn't it?

I hope you'll understand what I mean.

Which one is correct? Neither is correct.

a) I love going for long walks on Sundays; they make me feel so close to nature.

b) I love going for long walks on Sundays; it makes me feel so close to nature.

Both need a semicolon instead of a comma and both need a full stop at the end.

Thanks you tzfujimino,

Was nice; Thank you again for your attention to this matter and taking your time

Thank you, tzfujimino.

That was nice. Thank you again for your attention to this matter and giving up your time.

You must get into the habit of ending every sentence with a punctuation mark.

Thank you for your perfect answer (Actually I didn't know usage of ;)

But Just now a question occurred to me ;:) Is it right to say "In Sundays" instead of "On Sundays" ?

I can not thank you enough,Rover.

Steve.nabi, instead of sending your thanks in a separate message, just click the Like button, please.

The reason is that it is flagged as a new post, so we think you might have a follow-up question or something to add. Those of us with slow internet connections and/or old computers have to waste valuable time waiting for it to appear.

Thank you.
