In the following text, Is it correct to omit the word "ones" in bold and is it possible to write "those who are messaging me" instead?

"But it's not me that I'm worried about. It's those ones that are messaging me. It's those people that aren't in the public eye that are scared to even be themselves and walk the streets."

The above text is taken from the website.

I don't like it the combination of "those" and "ones". I'd expect "It's those who are messaging me", "It's the people who are messaging me", or "It's the ones who are messaging me".

As you can see, I would use "who" instead of "that" in all of them but you will hear native speakers use "that" even when referring to people.

I cringe when I hear salespeople say, “Those/these ones are on sale this week.”
