Hi there,

Is it normal to say, 'I'm doing some redecoration to my flat'?

You can say that yes, but it might be more common to say "I'm doing some redecorating at my flat."

I hope this helps!

Or, I am redecorating/refurbishing my flat.

It sure does! Great!

You should know that "renovating" and "redecorating" usually have different meanings. "Renovating" is largely structural, whereas "redecorating" is mostly cosmetic.
