To drive off the water in the mixture...

Hi,

Would anyone please give me more options instead of 'drive off' used in the title?


I think "...to make the mixture lose its excess water..." can be a choice here, though I'm not sure. I hope there are some synonyms we can use in such cases.

Evaporate or vaporize are synonyms for "drive off" in this context.

The word "dry" is what first came to me. To get excess moisture off of something you dry it.
